What do I offer?

As an Integrative Psychotherapist I offer a bespoke therapy experience, where your treatment plan will be according to your current life situation, needs, desired outcomes, and hopes for the future. I am primarily relational in how I work, seeking to attune to gaps in your relational experience that have left you traumatised, or feeling depressed or lost.

As an integrative practitioner I use a blend of psychoeducation, developmental theory such as attachment, transactional analysis, gestalt, and insights from neuroscience. I seek to use the whole of my life experience and who I am to support you on your journey into greater authenticity, peace and change.

Counselling and pastoral supervision

Shorter term counselling enables you to process experiences such as a bereavement or work-related stress with timely, and genuine support. In difficult times this is what we often need to move forward. Counselling can offer you help in finding strategies to cope, a compassionate ally, encouraging resilience and finding contentment. Usually 1-12 sessions.

Pastoral Supervision can be a run of sessions or a fortnightly or monthly get together to reflect on the impact your pastorally related work has on you mentally and emotionally. A great self care practise for those working in Health Care, Social Work, Education or Religious or Christian Ministry or leadership.

Psychotherapy

Mid to longer term psychotherapy enables more significant changes for the better in our lives. As psychotherapy clients we look at our origins; where do we come from, who have we belonged to, and how has this impacted us for good or ill. This “making sense” of the past can help us enjoy the present, and have confidence for the future as we see things about ourselves, and our interaction with others with greater clarity, and freedom of choice. Usually 12+ sessions with regular reviews.
